The group meets on the last Thursday of the month in St Conleths day care centre at 8pm. They go swimming on Mondays at 6-30pm, meeting in the square. Indoor Bowls in the C.Y.M.S. on Mondays and Thursdays from 8pm. Keep fit classes Friday night at 8pm in the day care centre.

Kildare town twinning association is twinned with Corps Nuds, Brittany, France. There are family and student exchanges each year between the two towns.

Kildare Drama Festival:
This was formed fifty years ago by muintir na ttire to help start armature drama in the town. The festival is held at the beginning of March each year. It is held in the C.Y.M.S. Hall. It runs for eight days. Committee meetings are held monthly during the winter.
