Despite the dazzle and glamor in the 14th Annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball, it seems that every guest who attended the event was there for one purpose—to help the needy children.

And Al and Nancy Malnik, a Boca Raton couple is no exception. Al and Nancy Malnik relentlessly continued to show their warmhearted support for South Florida’s Make-a-Wish Foundation. This was just one among the many ways this couple demonstrates how charity comes from the heart when it comes to assisting the needy children.

Al Malnik said that it was about children and striving to do everything possible to touch their lives and make a difference. Al Malnik further added that when you see a child smiling, you should realize how such wishes mean to them—you just have to help.

Norm Wedderbum, chief executive officer and president of South Florida’s Make-A-Wish Foundation; Jack Miller, InterContinental Miami General Manager and Gala Host; Shareef Malnik, event chairman and proprietor of The Forge, collectively joined hands to recognize the pledge of Al and Nancy Malnik in continued support and their lifetime benefactor role in that organization.
